Converse Hope Center Fundraising Auction - Douglas Golf Course
On August 22, 2025, Bixby Auction Group had the honor of leading a spirited afternoon fundraising auction at the Douglas Golf Course and Community Center in Douglas, Wyoming. The event brought together community members for an afternoon of fellowship, friendly competition, and generosity, all in support of the Converse Hope Center. With enthusiastic bidding and strong local support, vital funds were raised to continue the Center’s mission of providing advocacy, crisis intervention, and youth programs for victims of crime in Converse County. We are proud to have played a role in an event that showcased the strength and heart of the Douglas community.
First Responders Freedom Fest Pie Auction
The 5th Annual First Responders Freedom Fest & 5K will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Washington Park in Douglas, Wyoming, bringing the community together for a day full of family fun, fitness and patriotic celebration, while honoring the dedicated first responders who serve and protect Converse County. This year introduces two new additions: the Watermelon Eating Contest and the first-ever Pie Auction, co-hosted by Bixby Auction Group LLC, both sure to add extra flavor and fun to the event. Notably, both the Freedom Fun Run 5K and the Pie Auction are fundraisers that help support future community events hosted by the Douglas Police Department.
Susanne Evans Estate Auction
The Susanne Evans Estate Auction begins closing at 6:00 PM MTS on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. This online-only auction features the lifetime collection of Susanne Evans, a respected longtime teacher at Gordon Elementary School. Her estate reflects years of care and appreciation for quality. Highlights include a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited with just 22,465 miles and a 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS with 68,950 miles. Also offered is a wide variety of personal property, including antique and retro furniture, Native American beadwork, silver flatware, fine china, crystal, and other quality household items. This is a clean estate with many items in excellent to near-pristine condition. Whether you're a collector or just looking for well-cared-for pieces, this auction has something for everyone.
2025 Casper Self Help Center Benefit Auction
The 2025 Benefit Auction for the Casper Self Help Center took place on May 23 at the Wyoming Sport Ranch Event Center. Led by Auctioneer C.Y. Bixby and our Team of Professional Ringmen, the evening combined lively bidding, heartfelt performances, and a strong sense of purpose. The event was held to raise funds in support of those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and donors, it was a memorable and impactful night—full of energy, community spirit, and meaningful contributions toward a vital cause.
