The 5th Annual First Responders Freedom Fest & 5K will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Washington Park in Douglas, Wyoming, bringing the community together for a day full of family fun, fitness and patriotic celebration, while honoring the dedicated first responders who serve and protect Converse County. This year introduces two new additions: the Watermelon Eating Contest and the first-ever Pie Auction, co-hosted by Bixby Auction Group LLC, both sure to add extra flavor and fun to the event. Notably, both the Freedom Fun Run 5K and the Pie Auction are fundraisers that help support future community events hosted by the Douglas Police Department.

The 2025 Benefit Auction for the Casper Self Help Center took place on May 23 at the Wyoming Sport Ranch Event Center. Led by Auctioneer C.Y. Bixby and our Team of Professional Ringmen, the evening combined lively bidding, heartfelt performances, and a strong sense of purpose. The event was held to raise funds in support of those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and donors, it was a memorable and impactful night—full of energy, community spirit, and meaningful contributions toward a vital cause.
